How to Use Simply Spray Outdoor Fabric Paint on a Patio Umbrella
In this video, we demonstrate how to use Simply Spray Outdoor Fabric Paint on a patio umbrella. This paint is WATERPROOF and provides a vinyl-type coating.
We use the Rust color of the Outdoor Fabric Paint to paint the umbrella. This is a similar color to the pattern on the umbrella.
You only need to shake the bottle a little bit. Pull off the tab to open the can. Be sure to spray in LIGHT COATS. The paint needs time to fully soak in to achieve its full effect. The paint does not cover up the original pattern on the umbrella completely. Once dry, you can apply more coats or a coat on the underside of the umbrella. The paint will air-dry and will have a similar feel to vinyl. This paint is recommended for outdoor umbrellas, porch awnings, bimini boat tops, and canopy tents. It is not recommended for seating that will be in the sun; the paint will feel sticky to the skin when heated up.

Test the paint out on a hidden area of your project before spraying the entire thing. Make sure you like the resulting color and texture before you spray paint your entire project. Fabric Spray Paint does not accept opened cans to be returned, so please only open one can at a time.
