Sage Green Upholstery Fabric Spray Paint by Simply Spray® is a permanent aerosol fabric paint, not a dye. It is a non-toxic and non-flammable paint, safe for children and adults alike. This paint retains the original softness and texture of the fabric you're painting. The paint will not crack or peel. With Fabric Spray Paint you can easily have your old furniture looking like new again. Fabric Spray Paint is great for use on couches, cushions, office furniture, cotton clothing, cloth car interiors, carpets, rugs, and many more absorbent surfaces. Fabric Spray Paint is a fun, easy, and inexpensive way to rejuvenate the look of your environment.
*Please note the PMS color reflects the true color of the product which, may vary due to the calibration of your monitor as well as the material you choose to spray the paint on. If your project demands exact color matching we highly suggest testing on a hidden area first.
IMPORTANT When painting furniture, be sure to do a COMPLETE TEST on a hidden area that matches the surface fabric. Let the paint dry completely over three days, then check to make sure your paint adheres to the fabric. Make sure you’re satisfied with results before starting your project.
Only open one can at a time. We are not responsible for the results of your painting project and will not credit for used cans or damaged furniture.
This eight-ounce Upholstery formula is specifically designed for high-contact surfaces such as seats, couches, or hammocks. There is UV protection for outside use. Do not use upholstery spray if you intend to put the piece through the washing machine.
This paint does not work on shiny, stain-protected, or waterproofed material. We recommend the new Waterproof Outdoor formula for these types of fabrics.
Always test first. If you cannot paint-test the area, use water to see if it soaks in or beads up. If it beads up, do not continue painting and call us to return unopened cans.
Make sure to test on an unworn area. Stain-proofing tends to wear off over time where people sit. Test an area that gets little wear to ensure paint adheres to the entire project. You will also need
to determine how much paint you need.
Buttons and folds can be tricky to spray. We suggest rubbing in the paint with a rag as you spray to get all the nooks and crannies.
For Velvet The paint sticks to the hairs. Brush with cloth after it’s dry to soften.
For best results, the fabric must be dry, clean, and free of body oils.
